#18: Celebrity Politics

Celebrities are known for asserting extremely uninformed opinions about politics.  Though they often have no clue what they’re talking about, their messages of “unity” and “anti-hate” are acclaimed by their equally ignorant and easily manipulated masses of fans.  They denounce every attempt by Republicans to create a better world and brazenly mock anything Trump says or does.  They take bizarrely hypocritical stances like supporting homosexuality and acceptance of Islam simultaneously.  They speak of racism as the ultimate evil while endorsing politicians whose policies will result in the extermination of the white race.  They support their radicals and extremists yet demand the right disavow their own.  They push for mass migration of third-worlders into western nations but feel none of the repercussions.  Clearly, most don’t understand the implications of the policies they endorse.

The opinions and stances taken by pop stars and TV actors alike have real world consequences.  Most are leftist halfwits jumping on the “I-hate-Donald-Drumpf” bandwagon and are merely appealing to already popularly-held positions.  They do little more than virtue-signal within their echo chambers.  Some, however, are taking their beliefs further by suggesting/teasing runs for various political offices, including presidential.  They see the example Donald Trump set and will likely try to use the same tactics that won him the presidency for their own agenda, whether they be left or right.

kidrock_presidential_headerKid Rock, popular singer/songwriter, is running for Senate.  Famous for his album Devil Without a Cause and extravagant shows, he’s using his popularity to his advantage for the 2018 Senate election in Michigan.  Like every politician ever, he claims to be a “voice for the people.”  In a statement, he says, “…I’ll keep doing what I do best, which is being a voice for tax paying, hardworking AMERICANS and letting politicians like [Senator Stabenow] know that We the People are sick and tired of their bullshit!”  He differs from regular politicians by using his stardom and music as a marketing strategy, which may just give him an edge.  More conservatives in office is crucial to curbing dangerous liberal policies, and if it takes supporting eccentric musicians to make that happen, then Kid Rock is the way to go.

caitlyn-jenner“Caitlyn” Jenner, transgender activist and man-turned-almost-woman, has expressed interest in a run for senate.  Ironically a Republican, she/he has been dipping his/her toes in the political scene and spoken out about policies affecting the lgbtqrstuvwxyz+++ community.  Taking matters to the next level, Jenner said in an interview, “Over the next six months or so, I gotta find out where I can do a better job.  Can I do a better job from the outside?  Kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talking to anybody?  Or are you better from the inside, and we are in the process of determining that.  Yeah, but I would look for a senatorial run.”  Whether Caitlyn runs or not is yet to be determined, but the campaign would certainly benefit from his/her popularity and confusion of identity.  Winning over a Republican voter base would prove difficult, however.

newsnow_20170510_a_260245_560x315_940616259527Perhaps the fastest-growing star in terms of fame is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.  Formerly a fake wrestler in the WWE, Johnson has teased at the idea of entering politics, the even faker medium of throwing down.  Dwayne is just about as charismatic as one can get, and he has the smile and looks to back it up.  When unintelligent voters go for the politicians they’d rather have a beer with, people like Dwayne Johnson win that vote every time.  Though there are no formal plans at running for office, a campaign committee has formed to run for president.  Once joking about a presidential run on Saturday Night Live, “The Rock” has now teased at the possibility of an actual run.  According to The Hill, Johnson has said, “Personally, I feel that if I were president, poise would be important.  Leadership would be important.  Taking responsibility for everybody. [If I didn’t agree with someone] on something, I wouldn’t shut them out.  I would actually include them.”  This kind of talk combined with his charisma would make for a dangerous combination, as Dwayne Johnson would almost certainly run as a Democrat.  He’s counter-signaled Donald Trump’s travel ban and has pandered to the left for a long while.  A Johnson campaign would be very difficult to defeat, especially considering the femininity and feelings-based way of “thinking” the average person is appealed to.
Celebrity politicians are almost certainly going to be seen more often as the RNC and DNC work to out-compete each other (and tear down the rest of civilization in the process).  The mainstream media will continue to pander to the left, despite its complete loss of credibility, and work to propel leftist stars to the throne of power.  Right-wing celebrities, the rise of alternative media, and the pushback from the right is all that stands in the way of an Idiocracy-style society, 1984-esque totalitarian leftist government, and the end of the white race.
